INTERNING AT AUDUBON
National Audubon Society is the largest conservation group in Florida, but they're well-known nationwide with over 450 chapters across the nation. I worked closely with the communications director and assisted the Audubon FL team with projects. Since I was interning at the Capitol, we were responsible for legislative advocacy which was very rewarding. MANAGED PUBLICATIONS
Audubon Florida proudly produces publications containing the data their staff, scientists, and volunteers collect. I managed the Scrub Jay Watch Report, State of the Everglades Report, and two editions of Audubon's magazine, the Naturalist. I was responsible for uploading the publications, as well as being involved in the process of editing. I also managed the web-ready versions of the publications and can be found on Audubon Florida's website.
